Hi-Res Printing from Webpage

Vector art based printing and dynamic data presentation is now in the works with 2 projects. 

Hi resolution printing, either via a single print job to a hi quality printer or to press-ready PDF through acrobat is achieved. 

Flash is the vehicle because not only can it deliver completely vector based output and direct to printer communications through it's actionscript but it is can also do that with dynamic data supplied via XML.

Projects
Training Certificate
Training participants fill out a form which is submitted, parsed into XML and then stored on the server.  The participant receives an email link to a Flash movie which builds the certificate dyncamically and can be printed through ActionScript print commands.

RealTime PriceList
Flash movie connects to internal database and retrieves part numbers and real-time pricing information and then produces a print-ready display of all the products organized just as they are on the web site, but with no content other than product names and the quick reference ordering information.
